Lucky Rider, a Swedish magazine, featured Marti's artwork in an article about Figure-8 Roping in their August 2011 issue.

"Breakfast and a Bath" and "Thirst Quenching" (both oils) made it in the top 75 of Richeson75 -Animals,Wildlife & Birds International Art Competition in late 2011.

"A Timeless Dance" made the top 50 in the CPSA's (Colored Pencil Society of America) International Explore This! online art competition.

Two of Marti's colored pencils won First and Second in the Drawing category of the Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale 2012 Art Show.
